British Naturism - Holidays

The sunshine holiday is often the highlight of the naturist year - and there are hundreds of places around the world to stay. There really is something for everyone - resorts range from the most luxury hotel accommodation, with top-notch facilities and acres of landscaped grounds, right down to the most basic campsite. There are holiday villages with shops, pools, restaurants and bars, entertainments and activities and a choice of accommodation types; cruising and sailing holidays; apartment complexes; self catering cottages; camping and caravanning sites; B&Bs; and Naturist clubs with facilities for the holidaymaker. Many are situated in superb locations, not only beautiful to look at, quiet and secluded, but also only a stone's throw from tourist attractions.

Naturist holiday spots are indistinguishable from any other type of holiday location, well, other than the dress code. The community spirit that pervades in Naturism is very apparent at holiday venues. People are pleasant, relaxed and talk to each other.

Do you have to be naked all the time?

No. Obviously, the idea of a Naturist holiday is that you don't need clothes and so if the weather is good enough, most people will be nude. However, before the sun gets hot you will often find people putting on a T-shirt or a sarong when they go to buy their morning croissant and many people like to dress up for evening meals. Some people prefer to wrap themselves in a towel when walking around. It's all about personal choice and comfort. The one place where nudity is obligatory is in the swimming pool.
